The Sunday Alternative has been championing new music that's slightly off the mainstream radar since 2011 and in keeping with the outsider ethos Bunkers Hill once again presents a lineup of acts that aren’t quite as ‘Hockley’ as other venues.

For the past 3 and a half years, Poetry Is Dead Good have brought the best Poetry and Spoken Word into the heart of Nottingham. Now they're doing the same at this year’s Hockley Hustle.

Himmah is a Social Justice Charity and run an independent Food Bank and Community meals service to support those in need in Nottingham. One way to raise awareness of what they do is through showcasing world class music at events.

From folk to funk, via swing and spoken Word. A stellar line-up of local talent supporting local causes with a raised fist and helping hand.

Acoustickle and Can't Stop Won't Stop represent jazz, soul, hip hop, and other styles originating from Black music. We have booked international Grammy Award winning artists, underground heroes and local independent stars in the making. Come check out our selection for Hockley Hustle 2017.

We thought we'd do something new this year so we've teamed up with Music Hub to bring you an all-star cast of Nottingham vocalists as well as the 60 piece UFO Orchestra playing classics from their repertoire and original songs from featured artists.

CRS have been providing invaluable music and media sessions to the youngsters of Notts. They join us at the Hustle for the first time to present the cream of the crop from their current and past musical crops

Another unmissable lineup of talent from Dean Jackson and the BBC Intro East Midlands team. Dean has been involved in the Hustle since 2006, and it is always an absolute pleasure. This year he's hustled up another great lineup. Don't miss.

Repping the Hustle since Day 1 - Farmyard & Sounddhism join forces once again for a day of hip hop, funk, soul and awesome music followed by a downright awesome afterparty, hosted by Detonate.

Roy Stone was a much loved Nottingham musician and all round great gent. He very sadly passed away last year. Since his passing, his friends have set up a charity to support people with mental health issues and reduce stigma. There will be buckets on the door of this venue collecting money for the foundation. Please give generously.

For the first time this year Sneinton Market Avenues will be taking part in the Hockley Hustle!

These guys really do know how to throw a party. Dancers and ravers assemble for what promises to be a right old knees up from Trent Uni's finest party people.

Tucked away down the cobbles of Cobden Chambers and home to one of Notts finest eateries Kiosk, it's great to have the Think Creative team involved in the Hustle for the first time. They present a corker of a lineup featuring some delectable acts.
