Debbie Bryan: Desire, Love, Identity: Nottingham queer-life stories

Selling beautiful hand-crafted gifts, serving delicious, freshly made lunches and Afternoon Tea plus hosts of superb food, creative and cultural experiences

Story makers, poets, and raconteurs share extracts from new work written for the queer anthology Desire, Love, Identity. This anthology, recently published by Global Words Press, features wide-ranging and striking original pieces responding to exhibits in the British Museum’s touring LGBTQ+ exhibition.

Come along and hear moving, heartfelt, and inspiring work from familiar and unfamiliar Nottingham creatives. This showcase is a testament to the trials, complexities, realities, and joys of growing up queer.

Hosted by Nicci Robinson (Global Words Press) and Kevin Jackson (well-known queer poet & performer), the event includes an opportunity for audience questions and discussion.
