FAQ

What is Hockley Hustle?

A one day music and arts festival across 50 venues in Hockley, Nottingham. Hundreds of acts, one wristband, and every penny raised goes to local charities. It's been running since 2006.

When is it?

Sunday 25 October 2026, midday till late.

How much is a wristband?

£15 early bird. Prices go up in September, and it's £25 on the day. Buying early saves you money and helps us plan a better festival.

Where do I get my wristband?

Buy your ticket online, then swap it for a wristband at Broadway Cinema on the day of the festival. Everyone in your booking needs to be there with the registration code to collect theirs. There's no advance collection, the exchange only runs on the day.

Can I just turn up and buy one?

Yes, wristbands are sold on the day at £25 while they last. Booking ahead is cheaper and guarantees you're in.

Where does the money go?

Every penny from wristband sales, minus the ticket seller's fees, goes straight to our charities. We don't take a cut. That's how it's worked since 2006, and it's why the festival exists.

Do the artists and venues get paid?

The venues host us for free and nearly every act plays for free, which is what allows us to donate to our fantastic charities every year.

Can I move between venues?

Yes! That's what it's all about. Your wristband gets you into every venue, all day. Wander, stumble into somewhere new, follow the noise.

Are under 18s welcome?

The festival is family friendly and there's plenty on during the day, but some venues are over 18 only, especially later on. Age restrictions are listed with each venue's lineup.

Is the festival accessible?

We want everyone to have a good day. There's a sensory friendly quiet space, queue skip at the wristband exchange for anyone who needs it, and free entry for carers if you let us know in advance. Access varies between venues, so check the accessibility page for the full picture.

How should I get there?

Please don't drive if you can help it. The city centre is busy on festival day and we're trying to keep our environmental impact down. Buses and trams run right past Hockley, and if you're local, walking is the classic approach. Typically we do a promotion with NCT busses to get discounted travel on the day.

Can I help out?

Always. Volunteers get a free wristband, a t-shirt and our eternal gratitude for a few hours of their time. Head to the volunteer page.
